POPTRONIK<\/strong> takes a scoot of the web introducing you to new music artists and generally bringing you the buzz on all that is creating a HOT FUSS<\/strong> in the music world.  With a little difference maybe, but definitely cool as!<\/p>\n

This weeks HOT FUSS FIVE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

VICTORIA AND JACOB<\/strong>:  As Summer cashs in and the Autumn nip in the air tightens, it\u2019s great to have some feel good music to warm us through.  Lucky us, that\u2019s exactly what Lo-Fi pop duo Victoria and Jacob<\/strong><\/a> can offer us.  On the face of it their new track offering, \u201cFestival<\/strong>\u201d is an unassuming pop number, but don\u2019t be fooled by it\u2019s on the face of it pretty and daintiness. \u201cFestival<\/strong>\u201d is one of those tunes that reaches in and touches you when your not at all expecting it, weaving it\u2019s hazy, summer romanticism, soaring synths and Fleetwood Mac<\/strong> ambience into you\u2019re your chilly winter bones. KAI<\/strong>:  Over the past few months Londoner Kai<\/strong><\/a>, has been rippling the pop R\u2019n\u2019B scene with her sassily infectious debut \u201cFlirt<\/strong>\u201d.  Building her journey to this point via being a backing singer for a band that previously included Marvin Hume<\/strong> from JLS<\/strong> and Kai\u2019s<\/strong> taster of stardom through brief appearances on Nickelodeon TV<\/strong> in her formative years alongside some girlfriends. Kai<\/strong><\/a> has set about working with Amy Winehouse\u2019s<\/strong> backing singer Zalon Thompson<\/strong> and MOBO <\/strong>Award Winner Jai Amore<\/strong> culminating in the groovalicious track \u201cFlirt<\/strong>\u201d.  With a pounding bassline, topped with rich and silky smooth vocals,  Mama Kai<\/strong><\/a> has arrived on the scene folks and she\u2019s one to clock on your radar as an up and coming Urban Queen \u2013 trust us!  WATCH<\/strong>: Kai<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cFlirt<\/strong>\u201d HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

RUBY GOE<\/strong>:  Behold 2012 looks set to offer us a left-of field nuance of Boadicea<\/strong> styled alt pop.  No messin\u2019 with Ruby Goe<\/strong><\/a>, this gurl is as fly as a warrior princess! Setting down her spunky vocals admist a bombastic rush of the percussion section.  On forthcoming release \u201cGet On It<\/strong>\u201d  Ruby Goe\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> crafted herself a distinctly fresh and ballsy sound that doesn\u2019t adhere to the commercially abundant and overtly saturated candy sweet pop tunes formula.   We embrace her creative individuality, and all out ingenious vivacious pop sound.  We\u2019re on it with bells, horns and tom toms  – HOOO  HA<\/strong>!   LISTEN TO<\/strong>: Ruby Goe <\/strong>\u201cGet On It<\/strong>\u201d  HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

WOLFETTE<\/strong>: Charging herself up over the summer Electro Rock force Wolfette<\/strong><\/a> is back unleashing an exultant whammy of pulsating fire and verve.  \u201cTrophy Girl<\/strong>\u201d see\u2019s Wolfette<\/strong><\/a> deepen her grit on electro pop throwing in more dirty beats and angst than she has ever done before.  Whilst some electro pop kittens merely purr, Wolfette<\/strong><\/a> stands out with a powerful roar of empowerment for womankind.   LISTEN TO<\/strong>:  Wolfette<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cTrophy Girl<\/strong>\u201d HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

BREAKING DAY<\/strong>: Breaking Day<\/strong><\/a> have only been formed for around 6 months and are the masterminded creation of veteran singer and producer Toma<\/strong> \u201cMaskerade<\/strong>\u201d Johnson<\/strong>.  However, in this short time they have come together to form a vibrant urban edged pop quartet whose dance, pop ready fuelled beats, kiss a similarity to the Pussy Cat Dolls<\/strong> and mamas of them all EnVogue<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

With a splash of the electrolicious thrown in, we see a recipe of instant likeability about them which we are particularly feelin it on track \u201cHate Me Now<\/strong>\u201d. <\/p>\n
