{"id":24776,"date":"2018-04-13T08:55:23","date_gmt":"2018-04-13T07:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eqmusicblog.com\/?p=24776"},"modified":"2018-04-13T13:50:58","modified_gmt":"2018-04-13T12:50:58","slug":"sxsw-2018-music-spotlight-elle-exxe-interview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eqmusicblog.com\/sxsw-2018-music-spotlight-elle-exxe-interview\/","title":{"rendered":"SXSW 2018 Music Spotlight: Elle Exxe (Interview)"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"cb-itemprop\" itemprop=\"reviewBody\"><p>When it comes to seeing British artists at <strong>SXSW<\/strong>, I will usually tend to go and see another act in the time slot if I can because <strong>SXSW <\/strong>is about discovering music acts from all over the world, that you&#8217;d normally wouldn&#8217;t get to see.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HzdIBW2dFcg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>However, I have heard of <strong>Elle Exxe<\/strong> before as she&#8217;s no stranger to performing in London. Seeing that she was playing at one of my favourite hole-in-the-wall bars, <strong>The Iron Bear<\/strong>, I decided to check her out. What I walked away with was knowing that I got to see a massive talent blow the roof off a venue that you&#8217;d normally not get to see her in. Kinda like maybe seeing <strong>Lady Gaga<\/strong> perform at a little dive bar in New York &#8211; that&#8217;s what it felt like.<\/p>\n<p>When we got back to London, we got in touch with <strong>Elle Exxe<\/strong> to chat about her music and what she thinks are the most important issues facing music today.
