Well, looky here. It seems that I haven’t been the only someone, enamoured with Raissa’s<\/strong> sweetly, alluring vocals. (I have written about the newcomer’s debut releases “Bullying Boys<\/a><\/strong>” and “ANGEL ENERGY<\/a><\/strong>“, not so long ago.) The much-acclaimed DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer Mark Ronson<\/strong> himself, is not only a fan. He’s also signed Raissa to his Zelig Record label<\/strong>. Where she follows in the footsteps of breakout artist King Princess. BOOM. There sure has been some swift work going on behind the scenes, like when did this inking happen? More importantly, how amazingly quick has the labels newest acquisition been swung into action. Mark and Raissa have just unleashed a track. It’s a cover of \u201cI Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight<\/strong>\u201d by Richard and Linda Thompson<\/strong>. (Don’t worry I had no clue either.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to Radio One DJ Annie Mac<\/strong>, where the track was unveiled as Hottest Record In The World. Mark revealed it’s a song he couldn’t stop listening to during the first weeks of being in lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For me, it’s the ultimate song about a messy weekend night out. All the weird but wonderful human interactions that go down. Not knowing what might happen once you head out that front door. Maybe a little hookup, a good time, even a hint of danger. But whatever it is, you know you\u2019re going to forget about the boredom and stresses of everyday life for a few hours. I imagine the reason I\u2019ve been so drawn to this song is that I miss that all, very much,” Ronson<\/strong> further added on his socials.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n
