In March of this year, Christine and the Queens<\/strong> released a magnificent, EP and short film named “La vita nuova<\/strong>.” Indeed it was incredibly epic, full of visual splendid and the six electronic-pop tracks it is comprised of, are most excellent. While for the most part, sung, in her native French tongue. When this amazing, release came out, I had my attention firmly gravitated towards the exciting prospects that SXSW was promising. It was the time when the crazy was just getting started, and our first taste of the uncertainty of which, was about to happen first took hold. The opportunity to write about the beloved “La vita nuova<\/strong>” EP which had charmed me over, regrettably went by the wayside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My intuition told me, another chance would come around to show my appreciation of the project. In the meantime, Chris has been sharing a series of concept videos, in explanation of her great undertaking (filmed at Op\u00e9ra Garnier, the world-famous Paris opera house.) In truth, it would not have felt right to post up the full fourteen-minute visualizer on the blog (peep it here<\/a><\/strong>.) Saying this there is too much music brilliance, and art performance going on, that I felt it unthinkable, the project be would wound-up so quickly. It was only a matter of time before it was given a second wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n
